Many studies show that physical health can be greatly affected by mental well-being, and that when the mind is stimulated and engaged, the body can respond in positive ways. Through a new partnership, Carly’s Club and the Mikey’s Way Foundation are putting this theory into practice.

Roswell Park and Carly’s Club recently teamed up with the Mikey’s Way Foundation to help bring young cancer patients the foundation’s vision of connecting and enriching the lives of children suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illness.

RPCI has created an Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA) with Cancer program to expand and enhance its treatment and services addressing the medical, social, psychological, cultural and educational needs of young adults facing cancer.

Roswell Park has adopted the Beads of Courage® program to honor the journeys that children take when they are diagnosed with cancer.
