Many studies show that physical health can be greatly affected by mental well-being, and that when the mind is stimulated and engaged, the body can respond in positive ways. Through a new partnership, Carly’s Club and the Mikey’s Way Foundation are putting this theory into practice.

Roswell Park and Carly’s Club recently teamed up with the Mikey’s Way Foundation to help bring young cancer patients the foundation’s vision of connecting and enriching the lives of children suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illness.

On Friday, January 13, 2012, dozens of North Tonawanda High School (NTHS) students gathered in the school's gymnasium to participate in their first Goin' Bald for Bucks event. A total of 46 students and teachers raised more than $4,000 for cancer research at Roswell Park.

2011 was an amazing year for Yroswell but we can't wait to see what 2012 brings as we continue to work toward a world without cancer. The Yroswell leaders and Street Team members wish everyone a very happy new year. Work hard on those resolutions!
