Last week, Nichols School junior, Sommer Zacher, held a fundraiser for breast cancer research. She arranged to have Kelly Matecki, mother of Nichols alumna, Paige Matecki '10, come to Nichols to put pink strips in kids' hair. Those who had pink strips added made a donation. In just over one hour, Sommer raised $200, which the School sent to RPCI.
Sommer will also be the student leader on the Goin' Bald for Bucks fundraiser to be held later this year to benefit RPCI. Paige and other students previously did these fundraisers when they were at Nichols and Sommer is excited to continue to support this worthy cause.
